Today was Mel's first official Father's Day. Normally little girls get all dolled up for their daddy's in cute frilly dresses on Father's Day but I know Mel didn't want it any other way so I dressed Ava in her Phillies Cheerleader Dress! Of course Mel couldn't be any happier as a die hard Phillies Phan!
We took Ava to visit her Grandpa's grave (Mel's father) for the first time and I know it was hard for Mel but it was something we needed to do. My father was out of town in Paris for Father's Day with my mom and sister so we didn't get to visit him. Ava & Mel spent the rest of the day watching the Phillies game since that's just what he wanted to do!
