We took a trip to the Delaware Water Gap on the Jersey side this weekend with hopes of seeing some beautiful fall foliage but this crazy Indian summer we have going on squashed that! We did get a good hike in, however, as we headed up Mount Tamminy to check out the view. Uncle Andy carried Ava up the mountain (brave, brave uncle he is..) and Daddy backpacked her down (She's weighing in at a respectable 26 lbs now so that's some weight to carry).
Ava had a good time, mostly she threw plastic bottles under Andy's feet while he was hiking (I'm not really sure what she was thinking...) and she enjoyed hitting her daddy in the back of the head on the way down.. It was an overall good trip as we all managed to overdose on the fresh air!
