Ava has been working on her counting skills lately, especially when she is splashing with her many ducks in the tub. She knows numbers one, two, three, and four. When she counts she says, "One. One. One." or "Two, Two, Two.." She managed to get to four tonight... "One, Two, Four!" She's getting there.
Ava is now learning at least 2 new words every day. The trend this week aside from counting has been learning names. She can finally say Mickey & Minnie, and Tigger & Pooh which helps alot because those are 2 of her favorite shows. She learned how to say Aunt Jill's name as well. And when she hears a theme song to any show on the Sprout channel she yells out the name. It's amazing how babies can associate the theme song with a show already.
We also took a trip to the doctor today for her Flu shot and for the first time she remembered that something bad always happens there. As soon as we walked into the room she latched onto me and burried her head on my chest. She's growing up way too fast and getting smarter every single day! It's amazing how a child's mind works.
