Pink

Ava has a favorite color.... PINK! Yesterday she only wanted to color with the pink crayon and today she was picking only the pink toys out of the basket. I'm not quite sure why she chooses pink because I have always dressed in all different colors and her toys are also different. The only conclusion I can make is that her "bunny that goes EVERYWHERE" is Pink, so that's why she chooses that color.

Speaking of colors, now that she has mastered the wrong way to count as she starts at number 6 (not sure what happened to 1-5), she has moved on to learning colors. Pink of course was the first one she could say, followed by Purple, Booo, and Lellow.

Ava is also still very very VERY fond of reading. Whenever someone comes to visit she grabs their hand and says, "Come on, wead a book!" Her favorite books to "wead" have been her collection of Pooh books. Pooh has also become her favorite show (She's totally over Sesame Street now and has moved on...). "My Friends Tigger & Pooh" and "The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" are the two favorites and when Ava hears the theme songs she comes running to the TV and starts dancing away. They are both interactive problem solving shows and Ava likes calling out the answers as Mickey asks a question. They are very repetative so she is really starting to memorize what comes next.

We also have a well-check-up coming up soon as well and this will be the first time I won't have to ask any questions or discuss anything relating to her Prematurity!! That puts a HUGE smile on my face as we can now officially move on! Ava is where she needs to be all accross the board. She has caught up if not passed where she needs to be developmentally, in size, and in health. She is my beautiful little miracle and I am so blessed to have her in good health!
