65 and Sunny

Today was a bit out of the ordinary as we experienced some unusually warm weather. Just one week ago we had 4 inches of snow fall and today it's sunny and 65 degrees! And thankfully, it came on my day off from work.

Ava & I were so excited to get outside to breathe some fresh air as we have been going stir crazy being cooped up all winter. The only drawback was that all of the snow quickly melted leaving the ground soaked and muddy which meant that we couldn't head to the park. So we did a few errands first and then went for a stroll.

Wednesday nights we always head to Franks house for dinner and a visit. It was surprising still warm after dinner so we decided to head out for a stroll through Princeton and some Ice Cream at Halo Pub. Ava was extremely excited about the ice cream and took almost 10 minutes to decide on a flavor.

Ava chose chocolate, of course, and once she saw the toppings she insisted on some M&Ms on top. Just like any other tot, she had more ice cream on her clothes and face than actually went in her mouth. She ate so fast that she gave herself a brainfreeze which sadly, I didn't have the camera ready for. Hand to the forhead and an "Ahhhhh!" escaped from her mouth. And I couldn't help but laugh.

The beautiful weather was such a tease and I absolutely cannot wait for spring and our weekly trips to the park to start once again. Even worse, the forcast for tomorrow is a high of 35.
