Ava gained over 1 pound in just 2 weeks!!!! I am so happy and excited! She's finally putting on the weight like a pro and it is all thanks to her very big appetite! She is finally the average weight of most newborns and she's getting tall as well! All of her progress really puts me at ease because she has made leaps and bounds toward becoming a fully healthy baby! Some of the stress and anxiousness has been finally lifted off my shoulders and I feel like I can finally take a deep sigh of relief.
It is so stressful being a preemie parent because you never know what tomorrow will bring with the health of your baby but Ava is proving that she's a strong little fighter and that she will one day grow out of all of this! I cannot wait for that day.
