Dear Ava

Dear Ava,

I can’t believe that you are one month old already! It feels like just yesterday that our worlds were turned upside down with your early arrival and already you are keeping us on our toes. You came home from the hospital 3 weeks ago and it has been an eventful three weeks!

You have had a lot of visitors this month who were so eager to finally meet the little girl who changed our lives forever. You slept through most of their visits, however, and spent the rest of the time nursing. You are one hungry girl and you even managed to gain one pound in the last three weeks so we are continuing to see progress from you, our little fighter.

You are such a good baby and you even sleep through the night when you’re not feeding which is such a blessing! I love you so much already and I’ve only just met you! I never knew these feelings of love for someone could blossom so quickly and I know this love is only going to get bigger as you grow older.
