Peds again

We are back at the Pediatrician with Ava for her second appointment. She has gained six and a half ounces ever since she left the hospital!! That’s a big step for her and she’s really taking to breastfeeding like a pro. She’s a very good eater and I’m still feeding her on demand which is about every two to three hours all day and all night.

Ava is also beginning to show signs of colic. I was a colic baby so it’s only natural that she would be too! (Just my luck!) She gets really irritated and upset frequently during the day and the only thing that calms her is being held. When I’m holding her it’s like she’s trying to crawl away from the pain and she’s literally like a leap frog hopping up my stomach. I feel so bad for her and I wish I could take the pain away from her.
