I spent my first Mother's Day with my beautiful baby girl just as I wanted. We went to the annual Azalea Festival at Sayen Garden's in the morning. I usually take my mom every year so it was really nice to go as a first time mommy! My mother & brother Andrew both came with me to celebrate my first Mother's day with Ava and they really made it special for me. I would have liked Melvin to come and spend the morning with me as well but he really didn't want to go which of course upset me.
After the festival we headed back to my parent's house for some BBQ as Mel manned the grill as usual. The day was really special and the most important thing was that I was able to spend it with my mom & Ava. (And of course my brother who is the most caring brother in the world!)
