Some of my favorite photos I take of Ava are the moments I capture as I am photographing her wearing my headbands for my Etsy store. I take so many pictures of her that I have officially ruined any future photo ops as she intentionally looks away from the camera when she sees the camera lens pointed at her. This actually works for the pictures I need for PlumDaisy, but as for capturing her childhood with a direct smile at the camera? Not so much.
Even though she is looking away, I love how true her expressions are in the candid photos I take of her for my website. She is usually distracted with play which allows her true personality to translate into the picture. And on a nice cool day back in early August while Ava was busy playing in her radio flyer wagon I snuck some pictures of her which have lately become my favorite. As much as I love topping her off with a large Hair Blooms headband, I left her hair alone without her trademark "piggies" and I really love how natural the pictures came out.
