Ava & I spent Valentine's day together for the majority of the day. We watched a few Valentine specials on TV in the morning and read her new Dora Valentine book. Then I decided to take her to the Cookie Cottage in Hamilton Square for a Sweetheart Lunch full of sweets. I sipped my latte and Ava attempted to eat the biggest cookie they baked. It was no surprise that she picked the biggest one in the bunch, a one inch thick heart shaped Double Chocolate Smores Cookie. Of course I had to steal a few bites.When I asked Ava if she would be my Valentine she abruptly responded, "No." I then asked who her Valentine was and she squealed, "Grandpa!" I guess it was a good thing he was her choice because the two of them spent the night baking mini Ava-sized cupcakes with sprinkles.

awh Ava is wearing the dress we got her for her 2nd b-day. I got Jasmine one too! Too cute :)
