We spent all day Friday down the shore on the boardwalk at Point Pleasant. The weather was nice, 70 degrees, but we could have done without the wind. Ironically Franks parents also took a trip down there on Friday as well so we met up with them and enjoyed watching Frank's dad beat him at the boardwalk games. Ava, of course, was the recipient of the prize, a large bouncy ball.
After they left we headed over to the pier rides and watched Ava ride all the rides, most of them alone because she is finally big enough! We ended the day stuffing our faces with boardwalk pizza and took a slow drive home heading up the coast to Asbury Park before shooting back west.
