Dear Ava

Dear Ava,

I can not believe that a year has already gone by in your life. You started out so small and have grown into such a beautiful, outgoing, happy little girl. You have brought so much joy to my life and I can tell that this is only the begining.

Your smiles melt my heart and your laughter sends a thousand butterflies fluttering through my stomach. You are so determined and strong and already won't let anything hold you back. You have become very independent and you always seem to know what you want. I can see that you are becoming a girly girl just like I was with your facination with shoes, purses and cell phones. You are such an amazing little girl with a bright sparkle in eye when you talk to me.

You have come so far this year and fought so hard to get to where you are now. You overcame your prematurity and are now such a healthy and happy baby. I'm already so proud of you and you are only one! This weekend we are throwing you a big party to celebrate the life you have lived so far. You did not deserve to come into the world in the way that you did but you fought hard and so we celebrate you, my beautiful baby girl!
